Johnson & Associates was retained by The City of Oklahoma City to provide engineering and surveying services for a proposed 40 acre park in an underutilized area immediately south of the downtown business district. Detailed topographic and boundary surveys were prepared for use in both right-of-way acquisition and design ready surveys. Engineering services included cataloging all existing public, franchise, & private utilities within the park limits, analyzing relocation alternates, coordinating private & franchise relocations, and the preparation & administration of public improvements projects for relocation of the public infrastructure. Johnson & Associates also provided consulting services for the master plan and estimating phase, as well as design and construction administration services for the preparation of construction documents and for the construction of the project. This project included rough grading, subsurface drainage, utilities to serve site amenities, roadway & parking pavements, roadway improvements, access drives, and erosion & sedimentation control.
