OKANA Resort

Johnson & Associates developed all civil design for the 140-acre Chickasaw Nation OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park located in Oklahoma City west of Eastern Avenue and South of the North Canadian River. This development is expected to cost more than $400,000,000 and will include a luxury hotel, water park, outdoor lagoon, restaurants, conference center, retail and a parking garage. Johnson & Associates’ work included construction phasing and coordination with the existing Chickasaw Museum, a traffic study, the design of a public street with a signalized intersection, public sewer lines, a sewer lift station, public water lines, a drainage study, storm sewer improvements, utility coordination, a dock connection to the North Canadian River, surveying and construction administration.
