Woodward Streetscape

Johnson & Associates was retained by the City of Woodward to design a streetscape project utilizing state and federal aid. This project included an intersection signalization designed to meet ODOT requirements. The developed part of downtown Woodward had several existing ADA issues, requiring creative designing to meet local and federal requirements.

This rehabilitation project enhances the five-block-long core of the historic Main Street District in Woodward, Oklahoma. It introduces hardscape & landscape elements into the pedestrian walkways, and provides much needed handicap accessibility throughout the public rights-of-way. Infrastructure improvements also included an upgrade to paving, traffic signals, street lighting, and utilities.
