Johnson & Associates (J&A) announces the hire of Urban Planner Jessica Bloye. Ms. Bloye will be working on private developments as well as public projects, bringing skills in geospatial software and a working knowledge of Urban Planning. Jessica started with J&A in February of 2018 as an Urban Planning Intern while she attended the University of Oklahoma. Throughout her internship, Ms. Bloye impressed with an eagerness to learn and thorough attention to detail. Ms. Bloye has worked on various private development projects and will begin using her GIS skills to assist in the completion of a Population/Demand Projection Analysis for the City of Oklahoma City.

Prior to joining J&A, Ms. Bloye interned for the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department.

“Ms. Bloye is a prime example of how we want to groom interns from local colleges and universities in hopes of building a Johnson & Associates team of the future that is guaranteed to thrive. The decision to hire Jessica was an easy one, thanks to her strong work ethic, advanced knowledge of GIS software, and prior experience with the city government. We are excited to see our planning department grow in new ways, and look forward to showcasing new technologies for our clients and partners in the development field,” said Tim Johnson, President/Principal.

Ms. Bloye studied at the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2015 and a Master of Regional and City Planning in 2018.
